Yeah, bizarre!  It seems quite arbitrary in how they open up travel and borders.  With the delta variant, it's just going to make it longer and harder to open.  Not sure why non-essential travel between Canada and U.S. isn't open...Canada has nearly 80% vaccinated with first dose and closing in on 50% with second dose.  Cheers!

COVID has been the gift that keeps on giving for democrats. The ability to suspend constitutional rights, totally rewrite how elections are conducted, bribe citizens with free money, make folks reliant on big government, censor any speech that isnt advantageous to them, play arrogant lecturer with respect to "following the science" or even what constitutes science for that matter, and the best of them all, general subservience of 52% of the population. With over 97% of hospitalized covid patients being unvaccinated, one would think the way to strengthen the hand of the Democratic party would be to do whatever they can to SPEED UP transmission of the virus.  In some states Biden only won by a few thousand votes.

It's because BIden's administration wants the unvaccinated Americans to stay home in the US where they cannot escape the Delta variant.  Can't you see?  It's a plot to kill off unvaccinated Republican voters.  If they vacation in Canada where you are 80% vaccinated they might have a chance of avoiding infection.

I do agree. Its amazing there's folks who refuse to get vaccinated. Again, maybe younger people its different, but your stereotypical red state antivaxxer looks much more like, idk, a hippopotamus than an Olympic athlete. Additionally, how many with concerns over a vaccine have drank alcohol, smoked, or done illicit drugs? Kinda dumb to pick and chose which risks we take seriously.
