According to Biden, you can't be black and vote for Trump.

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Friday defended his record of helping African-Americans and advancing civil rights and voting rights, before ending an interview by telling a black radio host that if he can’t decide whether to vote for Biden or Trump, then he “ain’t black.”

Yup, just another case of an elitist lefty thinking they know whats best for the minorities. After decades of doing nothing but further forcing lower income and minority groups to become more and more reliant on the government, now they say "look at all we've done for you"...

But yea, great to know Joe Biden gets to determine who is really black.

Actually you cannot be human and vote for Trump.

There.

One of the architects of the drug war that has torn our cities to shreds and put millions of blacks behind bars for doing what white kids do openly without fear has decided that he's going to tell everyone how to be black.  The democratic party needs to find a way to stop this guy from talking publicly until the election if they want to have a chance.

This guy is a clown.

Pretty audacious to start dropping N bombs one sentence into some diatribe about how instantly branding someone a racist when you disagree with them is in fact a legitimate way to empower the perpetually oppressed...

If you have a legitimate argument or case to make to society, you can present it and let the content speak for itself. You dont need to lazily try to discredit those that disagree with you by instantly crying about bigotry or by making thinly veiled racist assumptions yourself.

On Monday, Reade had told CNN that she received a bachelor of arts degree from Antioch University in Seattle under the auspices of a "protected program," personally working with the former president of the school to ensure her identity was protected while she obtained credits for her degree. She also said that she was a visiting professor at the school, on and off for five years.

But a spokesperson for the university told CNN that Reade "attended but did not graduate from Antioch University" and that she was never a faculty member, but she did provide several hours of administrative work.

University officials confirmed with former university president Toni Murdoch that no special arrangements existed, university spokeswoman Karen Hamilton said.

An Antioch University official also told CNN that such a "protected program" does not exist and never has.

This looks really bad especially given the fact that she served as an expert witness. With any case there would have been voir dire including a voir dire cross examination. A voir dire cross examination typically would start with challenging her educational qualifications. Plus her apparent fabrication of relevant legislative experience is a mess too. It is sad that her fabrications were not discovered until now and that opposing legal challenges of all of her cases are probably getting fired up right now.

The standard to testify as an expert witness is higher and the desire to prevent a situation like this should point to higher consequences. Though perjury cases may be rare, we might actually see one in this case. Plus any career she might have had as an expert witness is almost certainly over given the accusations.

You could let the content speak for itself instead of tearing into (shooting) the author (the messenger) as a 'clown'.

I dont know if you meant to or not, but you posted a blog post from a guy who writes an opinion piece on identity politics and basically frames it as "if you disagree with me you're a bigot".... ironic and amusing.

‘Manipulative, deceitful, user’: Tara Reade left a trail of aggrieved acquaintances

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/15/tara-reade-left-trail-of-aggrieved-acquaintances-260771

A number of those in close contact with Reade over the past 12 years, a period in which she went by the names Tara Reade, Tara McCabe or Alexandra McCabe, laid out a familiar pattern: Reade ingratiated herself, explained she was down on her luck and needed help, and eventually took advantage of their goodwill to extract money, skip rent payments or walk out on other bills.

It just the standard Democratic response, you know that Gregmal.  Don't agree with me? You're a racist. It's worked for the Democrats for YEARS.

Blacks are starting to wake up the to "Utopia" that the Democratic Party has created for them - the welfare state, the single mother families, etc

The Democrats are absolutely TERRIFIED of the reception Trump is getting from blacks that want to think for themselves. It's awesome to watch.

Watch clips of many of the Trump rallies and focus on all the blacks that attend them. These people know that Democratic Party has failed them

miserably for years.

The Democrats KNOW that if Trump picks up 10 or 15% of the black vote this next election - that Trump will be President again - so the

all out assault begins - because with all time low black unemployment under Trump - Democrats are in big, big trouble.

Eric, you generally post links of very high quality. This one seems to be an exception.

I agree that there is much to strike out and wade through and that I wouldn't quote, however I would keep this nugget:

"It’s hard work to lift ourselves above our prejudices, and... the phrase “identity politics” to disparage those who are trying is displaying their own... held biases."

The Democratic party still thinks they "own" minorities....simply amazing....Any minority who doesn't pledge their allegiance to the Democratic party is immediately ostracized, labeled "And Uncle Tom" or some other ridiculous term.

Many blacks are understanding the hell that the Democratic Party has created for them. They know they have been suckers:

And when all else fails for Democrats, just call your opponents racists.

Read the Footnotes' worldview:

"Liberals who criticize Trump - great. Liberals who criticize neocon ideology - not great."

Jurgis, did you learn that style of argumentation from Cathy Newman?

Maybe I'm just a fan of a well reasoned argument. ERICOPOLY expresses himself well and generally links to high quality resources. In this case, I think he could have made his point better with a different link.
