Bernie Sanders surges to lead in California, this probably clinches nomination

There are so many envious, entitled, whiners that Bernie has a big lead even in California, a state he lost easily in 2016.

Sanders has support from 26% of voters likely to cast ballots in the state’s March 3 Democratic primary, drawing support from liberals largely at the expense of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Warren is now backed by 20% of likely voters, which is down from earlier surveys showing she had 22% in November and 29% in September in the state.

The rest of California’s likely primary voters remain divided among several candidates, which has left the party’s front-runner nationally, Vice President Joe Biden, with only 15% in the most populous state.

I will enjoy eating my popcorn as I watch bloomie spend $500MM to keep sanders from the nomination.  if as I expect you have a brokered democratic convention, then bloomie will get the nod because he is the only one willing to spend an additional $500MM to beat trump (TDS is strong with bloomie). and sanders followers will go full antifa in Milwaukee.

Since Sanders people have supposedly already looked into Warren as VP and Sec of Treasury it seems most likely that she would join with Bernie at the convention.  Will that be enough to beat Biden plus Buttigieg?  There is a long way to go.  Will Biden fade?  I really don't see Bloomberg being that attractive to the delegates.

If there is a brokered convention, I think it is more likely than not that Hillary Clinton will "throw her hat in the ring" and go for the nomination.  Hillary wants to be President so bad she can taste it.  That would also be the perfect strategy for her.  She stays off the grueling campaign trial and comes in at the last minute.  Saves her a ton of $$$ too.

Going to be interesting!

Hopefully we won't be seeing "Bernie didn't kill himself" memes everywhere in September.
