One difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that the guy in charge in a democracy? - he can be held accountable for his actions. He is not given unlimited dictatorial powers for his term as you seem to think is appropriate.

 

You and the present president both seem to believe that a president has complete and unaccountable power to do as he feels without question.

 

The audacity of those pesky Democrats. Imagine! They think they have a right to hold an inquiry to see if  the President might have done something wrong. How dare they! It’s a hoax, it’s a hoax!

 

As the president boasted: “I could go out on Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and not lose any voters.” Are you one of those voters? If not, then you should acknowledge that the house has every right to hold a hearing to see if impeachment might be warranted. Perhaps you should look at what has come up so far in the process, before you voice your preconceived judgment.

 

It is obvious to all by now that Trump held up Senate approved Ukrainian funding for his own purposes and on condition that the Ukraine help him dig up dirt on the Bidens... and "Oh, by the way, report back on the quiet to my personal attorney".  You don't see anything wrong with that?

 

That is black and white. It is completely irrelevant what Obama or the Bidens or anyone else did or did not do. It is purely what Trump did and that would seem to be illegal. First, what the Senate does or doesn't kill does not mean abuses of power should go un-investigated, or whistleblowers should be silenced, or responsibilities granted to the House should be revoked or not respected.

 

Now, until a year ago, Democrats had zero control over: the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, or the Presidency. So essentially the entire foundation of the Federal government. What were you expecting them to do, tap dance?

 

But if we back up a teeeeensy bit further than that, some guy actually did a decent job at moving towards universal healthcare. I think he was a Democrat but nobody ever mentions him anymore so I can't recall.  ;D

First, and I believe I told you this before, I have voted in every election since I was able to vote - likely many more than you. In all that time - now write this down - I have never cast a Liberal or ‘left’ vote.

Secondly, on the subject of advice, I will give you some: Get over it. If you guys on the far right don’t wish to destroy your countries then you need to swing back a little closer to center and moderate your views and try to encourage those on the left to moderate their’s.
