Smart? She lied her way through life claiming minority status...and then was stupid enough to take a 23 and me test, reveal the results, and then continue claiming her .00001% was proof!! You can't make this shit up. These lefties are so desperate to be anything but white that even white women are faking/lying about their races!

Elizabeth Warren has proposed raising the short-term capital gains tax in California from 54% to 69% (the 14.8% hike to pay for the higher Social Security stipend).

When I think of the confiscation proposed by her, the Nazis come to mind.

Fomenting hatred among the majority against a minority is a winning political formula.

With a 69% short-term capital gains tax for California, I would have to grow my own food.

Wait, we need to pay the property taxes and sales taxes after paying the 69%? Moving out of California would be the only way to survive. Or maybe out of the country if Elizabeth incites enough hate.

Demagogues and hate preachers like Elizabeth Warren have taken away people's property repeatedly throughout history.

It's so early in the game, I would say it's just as likely that Nancy Pelosi is our next president.

Should be real interesting when Americans are faced with the prospect the Warren is the Democratic Presidential Candidate.

In our last election, most people detested Trump AND Hillary (me included on both).

They are really going to hate Elizabeth Warren. Slave reparations, high taxes, potential wealth confiscation, hatred of big business, Green new deal,

Convicted Felon voting, Free College, Cancellation of Student Debt, Open Borders, Medicare for All

She will terrify Americans with these 2020 election issues. At least Hillary didn't get nailed down on 2016 issues.

Warren will be a enormous advantage to Trump's chances for re-election.

Once the public realizes the choice is Socialism or Trump - she loses.

Today on our show, we have three eligible candidates for president:

Candidate #1: Our first candidate might be the first to call for Trump's execution for treason?

Candidate #2: Our next candidate is worried that Trump likely start calling him "liddle mortar man", if he is too successful a candidate

Candidate #3: Our third candidate likes soul mates and longs walks in the woods

Liz has promised a big bribe for all retirees. They are the highest turnout demographic.

I believe this is the first time a Dem candidate has directly bribed a Republican-leaning demographic.

It will be a close contest.

The numbers seem pretty accurate. However it would be different for low income earners. But this also doesn't include sales tax, property tax, occupation tax, vehicle registration taxes, etc.

How much more can they take?

If the government couldn't maintain debt (always had to run a balanced budget), it makes way more sense to tax wealthy people than to run huge deficits. Seriously, if we weren't running a huge deficit we would probably be in a recession. The game of artificial interest rate and deficits disproportionately help the wealthy (while hurting the middle and lower classes, relatively). This stuff creates division in society. If interest rates were at 8%, what do you think that would do to home prices in California or the stock market?

Why do I say this? Well, look at the opioid problem. A lot of these drugs are funded directly out of state and government budgets. If the government had to run a balanced budget, a lot of these issues would be resolved because people would be looking at them (why are we spending so much money on this???). Because we're running deficits, we are less efficient at looking at issues - no reason to look at them since we can just create money and get "economic growth!" Drug use = short term growth.

I've done okay in life but not super wealthy by any stretch. We save a very large percent of our income. If our taxes went up, all that would do is stop us from investing as much in the stock market. I imagine the super wealthy folks have the same but more advanced... ugh "problem."

The economy worked just fine with higher taxes. It won't stop folks from investing. The only issues with the government increases taxes is that...I don't really trust the government to use the money efficiently.

Tough run for the Democrats.

Biden is toast because of Hunter.

Bernie Sanders has a heart attack and is not up to being President.

Now Pocahontas is being revealed as a chronic liar:

Liz is your #1 Candidate - not good - the American people will hate her worse than Hillary.

Do you think she's more or less honest than our current President? ;)

Elizabeth is extremely dishonest compared to Trump.

There is not enough money in the country to keep the existing Medicare promise for our aging society - i.e. infinite amounts of expensive care for old people.

How then can she keep her promises of student debt writeoffs, free healthcare and education for all, universal pre-K, $200 increased Social Security, environmental justice, etc.

Making all these promises is a great way to fund your campaign for sure. People think - "Hey, just mail her a small check every month. If she wins, that $200K i spent partying for 4 years will get waived away."

Her ever-growing promises cannot be kept.

Just on your one point: The UK covers every single person in the country with NHS and has a lower government funding for health care per person living in the country than we have in the US, even though we cover only a fraction of the population and they cover everyone.  Thats right look it up in the OECD.  For all those saying care is worse, on a variety of health indicators like life expectency the US does worse than most European countries like the UK with nationalized medicine.  The UK system may not be the right system for the US but the idea that universal health care is too expensive is a myth.

Yeah and the government also decides whether or not you can pursue medical care for your dying baby. They decide who gets treatment, what treatment and when. No thanks. If the VA (in the us) is any indication of what healthcare will be like from a government mandated standpoint then I'll gladly pass. Canada had a 9 month wait list for an abortion at one point.

Comparing life expectancy in modern nations is quite useless. The major difference is the choice of diet and generally not the healthcare. There is not a person in the US who would not be able to receive medical attention if they walked into a doctors office or hospital. To quote Ron Swanson " "If you want to do nothing but eat cheeseburgers, balloon up to 400lbs and die at 35 of a heart attack you can! You are free to do so and to me that is beautiful."  :P That being said I don't think medical support for the underprivileged is a bad thing.

I think the US thinks about healthcare incorrectly as well. I never understood why it's an employers responsibility to provide healthcare. They don't provide my mortgage insurance or car insurance. Also the idea that health insurance should cover every little thing is ridiculous. I don't think insurance should be used for things like general physicals, teeth cleanings etc. It should be used for the catastrophic stuff that would be unrealistic to pay for out of pocket. It's the equivalent for using an auto insurance claim for a scratch on your car door. That along gov't regulation has all but destroyed the US healthcare system. So naturally people look to big daddy govt for a fix...There is so much bloat in the US healthcare system if it were a person it would be larger than every obese person in the US combined. We also can't ignore the fact that the AMA (American Medical Association) has a monopoly on the market for medical practice and licensure. This gatekeeping to medical practice drives up costs dramatically for routine things.
