DTEJD1997
Hey all: Just as I predicted there would be trouble with various people/parties/groups/cities not following immigration laws & regulations, there is indeed something new & odd cropping up. There are now "sanctuary counties" where law enforcement is refusing to enforce state regulations on firearms! Please see: https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/31/us/colorado-red-flag-gun-law/index.html I have to admit I did not see this specifically coming, but I'm not surprised. I wonder what the people who support illegal immigration and sanctuary cities would have to say about this? I can guess that they would be against it! As a general rule anything that pushes power down from a more centralized authority to a smaller less centralized authority is better, and followed to its extreme all power should reside in the individual. I'd like to see power taken from the federal government and pushed toward the states, then power taken from the states and pushed toward the counties, then power taken from the counties and pushed toward the cities/towns, then power taken from the cities/towns and pushed to the individual. Any amount of power/decision-making moving in that direction is a good thing. https://mises.org/wire/end-nation-state
