The left loved this guy - remember Julie Swetnick and the Kavanaugh hearings? The "me too movement"? "You must believe the accuser?", etc The Democrats used Avenatti's claims to try and DELAY AND REOPEN the FBI background investigation into Kavanaugh. When that did not work - they used his claims to try and have Kavanaugh's nomination completely withdrawn. He was their hero. Only AFTER the Democrats lost the Kavanaugh confirmation vote - did they finally throw Avenatti under the bus!! Stop revising history. Two, the reasons those people are in trouble, especially Manafort, Gates, and Stone, have nothing to do with Trump. They are all life long scoundrels getting railed now for a lifetime worth of wrongdoing! If anything, associating with Trump, and having their career long rap sheets potentially forgiven, is a huge victory for those scumbags. So hardly discarding them. Cheers! I would prefer he not pardon them. But again, given the pardons we've seen from past presidents, I am sure I'll be able to live with it. Cohen is a moron. The guy, all around, just reeked of some dimwit who didn't have much of a brain and got to where he was by doing unethical things that lawyers with real talent wouldn't do. Manafort and crew on the other hand are guys I just view as greedy pigs. Guys who do have talent and could be tremendously successful if they did things the right way. But instead, because of their egos and greed, they chose the easier, dirtier path. Its something we see all the time. The same way a lot of the lefties like to blame the harsh inner city environment for why certain types of people commit crimes; on that note, I can see why Michael Cohen was a criminal. As we talked about in a previous thread, I can understand why the no name journeyman who never made it past AA ball took steroids. He was trying to get to the next level and compete with the guys who were more gifted than him. I can't understand why Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens took whatever they took, because they were already better than 95% of the guys playing.
